Our “ROCGuest” Wi-Fi is very safe and secure, and does not have any speed or internet limitations. Unsecure Wi-Fi networks are unsecure because of the way they are configured. Although our Wi-Fi is not password protected, it is configured in such a way that it is secure and protects its users. The password protected Wi-Fi networks at the church are specifically designed to limit access to the church’s servers, internal share drives, audio, and lighting controls. The internet connectivity on the church’s password protected Wi-Fi networks is exactly the same as “ROCGuest”. Thus, Wi-Fi passwords should only be shared with church staff and trusted volunteers.
